Q. What if I'm awkward in photos?

That describes most of the men I photograph—and also me.

Most of my clients don’t post on Instagram, don’t usually like how they look in photos, and have no idea how to pose. None of that matters because I’m not asking you to perform for the camera. We’ll be talking and doing things you genuinely enjoy, which creates the conditions for you to relax and forget you’re being photographed.

Q: How long does a dating photography process take?

The dating photoshoot itself lasts about four hours, usually in the morning. The full process—from your intro call to delivery of your final photos—typically takes two to six weeks, depending on scheduling and how quickly you want to move.

Q: What should I wear for my online dating photos?

Wear clothes that feel like you and make sense for each location and activity.

Because photoshoot wardrobe stresses a lot of men out, professional styling is included. Once your shoot plan is complete, a Seattle-based personal stylist helps you build each outfit using clothes you already own. They can also help you shop if anything is missing.

Q: What if I already have some good online dating photos?

Great. I’ll review your existing photos for both quality and signal. If a photo already does a specific job well, we’ll keep it and build the remaining scenes around it.

The goal isn’t six new photos. It’s a cohesive, high-signal dating profile where every image earns its place.

If you already have at least four strong dating photos, the Essential Session might be a better fit for you. It's a tighter, tactical photoshoot focused on replacing the two highest-leverage photos in your profile.

Q: What if it rains in Seattle on the day of my dating photoshoot?

Seattle weather is built into the plan. I monitor the forecast closely and will adjust locations or reschedule the photoshoot if the conditions would compromise your photos.

Q: Do you do photoshoots outside the Seattle area?

I sure do! Most of the time I'm shooting in the Pacific Northwest (Seattle, Bellevue, Tacoma, Olympia, Portland) but clients also sometimes have me fly me to their home state when it makes sense.
