We'll schedule time a week or two before your photo session and go through your clothes together. You'll show me what you've got and I'll help you narrow it down and put pieces together into cohesive, photogenic outfits. 

You get a customized packing list (and possibly a short shopping list) so you can show up for your dating photography session 100% confident in what you're wearing.

Shopping Trip - $495

If you don't already own enough (or any) clothes that you would feel great wearing in your new online dating photos, and you're not ready to hire a full-blown personal stylist, I'll be your stylist for a day. 

We'll pick stores that work with your style and your budget and I'll help you put together outfits that will not only photograph well, but will be great to wear on all the dates you'll be going on post-shoot :)

First, we'll establish a starting point

I'll start by asking to see any dating profile photos you might already have in case you've got anything worth keeping.

I'll presume you’re starting from scratch (because you’re new to online dating, all your photos have your ex in them, your appearance has changed, whatever the reason is). 

We are notoriously poor judges of our own photos, and it's possible you're ruling out photos that would actually be good when strategically incorporated with your new, high-quality dating photos.  

If you have any dating photos in your camera roll that are keepers, I'll help you identify them and we'll set them aside for later. If you’ve got absolutely zero dating photos to work with – no problem!

Next, we'll create your customized dating photo shoot itinerary

Your part of the planning process is fast and easy.

All you have to do is fill out my dating photoshoot planning questionnaire (basically, a whole bunch of strategic questions about you & your life).

This sounds like a LOT of having my picture taken...

Lol! You for sure can. Here's the deal: 

1. You're not getting your picture taken for the entire time, there's a lot of transition time as we're walking, moving between locations, you're changing clothes, etc.. Bathroom breaks, snack breaks, no problem! 

2. You do not need to be comfortable in front of a camera to look totally dreamy in your new dating photos (and have fun during your photo shoot!). 

Let me repeat that for the folks in the back:

Dominic's Whole-9 Dating Photography Experience 

Meet Dominic! He lives north of Seattle and (spoiler alert) is super talented and ridiculously cute and lovable. But his online dating profile wasn't capturing that.

Here's what we did for Dominic's dating photo package:

Dominic filled out a detailed questionnaire about his life and his interests (easy! took him less than 10 minutes). I sifted through his answers and hand-picked a few choice ideas which I wove into a plan for Dominic's photoshoot.

The goal -- create a Hinge profile for Dominic that shows him as multi-dimensional, 100% authentic, and gives of "future hubby" vibes.

This is one of Dominic's "before" dating photos:

Great shot! But...horses aren't actually a part of Dominic's life so instead of giving matches a juicy glimpse into his world, this photo just says "I rode a horse once" (and "I look cute on a horse" << he does indeed!).

Things that stood out to me as worth showing off on Dominic's online dating profile: 

👉🏻 He is an entrepreneur (Dominic owns a Crossfit gym and, related, is FIT AF)

👉🏻 He recently got his pilot's license (so rad)

👉🏻 He lives on a tiny little lake (dreamy!)

👉🏻 And he can get down almost as hard as I can on a big fat cinnamon roll (this was not a part of our plan but something I discovered during the "winging it" part of his dating photoshoot)

Our itinerary for Dominic's Whole-9 dating photoshoot looked like this:

✔ start at his Crossfit gym (this is where Dominic actually starts most days)

✔ then make a stop at the airport (Dominic likes to fly from here out to the San Juan Islands) 

✔ next, on to La Conner for some "around town" and "first date" vibes in several outfits

✔ ending at Dominic's house for some "at home" and "lake life" shots
Dominic's dating photography session was in December. We got a cold, overcast day but that didn't slow us down (in fact, overcast skies provide beautiful lighting for portraits).

He looks kind and relatable, handsome & fit (but not so strict that he won't put away a big cinnamon roll), down-to-earth, and genuinely warm (well, cold during the actual photoshoot but warm inside!).
